Public Notice and Declaration

(regarding Twin Willows Kings separation from the American King Shepherd Club)

On May 12, 2011, after questioning several A.K.S.C. board proposals regarding "withholding of pedigrees" and "price fixing", Twin Willows Kings noticed it had been removed from its Active Breeders status on the A.K.S.C. website. Twin Willows Kings was a "board member" and a member in good standing, having operated well within the bylaws of the club. Because this action was taken without just cause, Twin Willows Kings must assume it is released from any obligation or responsibility before imposed by the A.K.S.C. club or its membership.

** It remains the policy of Twin Willows Kings to encourage Free Enterprise, free exchange of information, full disclosure and documentation regarding lineage history and pedigrees. We cannot condone the withholding or restriction of access of any such records, which can often perpetuate suggestions of falsification or even questionable origins. Furthermore, we will hence forth be promoting both microchip placement along with DNA verification to help ensure positive identification of all our dogs and their successive generations.
